1) Summary
We collect information you provide (such as name, username, and email), information collected automatically (such as device information, usage statistics, and crash logs), and—only if you allow it—location information (precise or approximate). Certain optional features may allow you to upload text and/or images for processing. We use information to provide and maintain the Services, personalize your experience, improve and secure the App, provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
2) Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account and profile information: name, username, email address.
- Customer support information: the content of messages you send to us (e.g., support requests, troubleshooting details, and any attachments you choose to provide).
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device information: device model, operating system version, language settings, unique device identifiers (or similar), and network information (e.g., IP address).
- Usage data and analytics: interactions with features, in-app events, timestamps, and performance metrics.
- Crash logs and diagnostics: crash reports and related technical data to help us diagnose and fix issues.
2.3 Location information (with your permission)
If you enable location permissions, we may collect and use your location information, which may be precise or approximate depending on your device settings. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
2.4 Cookies, similar technologies, and web beacons
If any parts of our Services are delivered through web-based content, we may use cookies (and similar technologies, potentially including web beacons) for login/session management and remembering preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings (where applicable). Some functionality may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.
2.5 Photos and face-related images (no biometric identification)
Some features may allow you to select or upload photos/images. We do not perform face recognition and we do not create or use biometric templates for identification.
- If image processing or generation is used, it is performed one-time for your requested output and then deleted from our servers after processing (see Section 3).
- By default, generated outputs are stored locally on your device unless you choose otherwise.
- We do not use your photos/images for advertising/marketing, and we do not use them to train our models.
3) Optional AI / Server Processing of Text and Images
Certain features may allow you to upload text and/or images for processing to help you generate, organize, or enhance content related to group dining preferences and meal planning (the "AI/Processing Features").
For the AI/Processing Features:
- User control: you decide whether to upload and generate content.
- Processing location: your text/images are processed on Flindra's own servers.
- No third-party sharing: we do not share your uploaded text/images with any third party for processing.
- Deletion: once processing is completed and the output is generated, the uploaded text/images are deleted from our servers promptly. We do not retain them for any other purpose.
We may still retain limited operational logs (e.g., aggregated performance metrics or error logs) that do not contain your uploaded text/images, to maintain and secure the Services.
4) How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain the Services (account creation, authentication, and core functionality).
- Personalize and improve your experience (preferences and meal-planning coordination).
- Improve and develop the App (analytics, performance, debugging, and product improvement).
- Security and fraud prevention (detect, investigate, and prevent abuse).
- Customer support (respond to requests and troubleshoot issues).
- Legal compliance (comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and enforce our terms).
6) International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
7) Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest (where applicable)
- Access controls and least-privilege policies
- Regular security reviews/audits
- Backups and recovery procedures
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8) Data Retention
- Account information: retained for the duration of your account.
- After account deletion: we delete or anonymize personal information within 30 days, unless we must retain it longer for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
- Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months.
- Customer support content: retained for up to 6 months.
- Uploaded text/images for AI/Processing Features: deleted promptly after processing as described above.
9) Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access and receive a copy of your information
- Correct or update your information
- Delete your information
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

You can also control certain data collection through device settings (for example, location permissions) and by managing cookies where applicable.
10) Children
The App is not directed to children under 17, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11) Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date above when changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy to the extent permitted by law.
